Hoje, ao celebrar 80 anos de vida e 28 anos deste blogue, deparei‑me com um silêncio difícil de ignorar.

Um silêncio que contrasta com as mais de 767.000 visitas vindas de 45 países — números que, afinal, parecem não traduzir presença real.

Nunca escrevi para coleccionar ‘likes’, mas sempre acreditei que a partilha merecia, pelo menos, um sinal de vida. Hoje, esse sinal não chegou. E isso diz muito.

Este espaço foi criado para ser encontro, diálogo, comunidade. Quando a comunicação desaparece e resta apenas o consumo silencioso, é legítimo questionar se vale a pena continuar a oferecer tempo, energia e coração.

Não tomarei decisões precipitadas, mas é inevitável repensar o futuro deste blogue. Talvez seja tempo de o recolher, de o tornar privado, ou simplesmente de lhe dar descanso.

Agradeço a quem, ao longo dos anos, caminhou comigo.

Aos que ainda passam por aqui, deixo apenas esta verdade: um blogue vive de partilha — e o silêncio também tem peso.

Today, as I celebrate 80 years of life and 28 years of this blog, I encountered a silence that was difficult to ignore.

A silence that contrasts with the more than 766,000 visits from 45 countries — numbers that, after all, don’t seem to reflect real presence.

I never wrote to collect ‘likes’, but I always believed that sharing deserved, at least, a sign of life. Today, that sign didn’t arrive. And that says a lot.

This space was created to be a meeting place, a dialogue, a community. When communication disappears and only silent consumption remains, it’s legitimate to question whether it’s worth continuing to offer time, energy, and heart.

I won’t make hasty decisions, but it’s inevitable to rethink the future of this blog. Perhaps it’s time to withdraw it, to make it private, or simply to give it a rest.

I thank those who, over the years, have walked with me.

To those who still pass by here, I leave only this truth: a blog lives on sharing — and silence also has weight.
